Deep Roots in the Central Valley

Fresno is home.

Sarabian Law was founded by Jacob Sarabian, an attorney whose family arrived in Fresno four generations ago after escaping the Armenian genocide. Each generation stayed here, built lives, raised families, and became part of the fabric of this community.

After earning undergraduate and law degrees out of town, the plan was always to return. A chance meeting in law school with a fellow Fresno native, now his wife, made that decision permanent.

Before founding the firm, Jacob Sarabian trained at a Chambers-ranked, nationally recognized litigation firm, working on complex, high-stakes cases across industries and jurisdictions. When he returned home, he began practicing with one Fresno’s most respected law firms, becoming a partner only four years out of law school. That experience now powers the firm’s approach to local litigation: strategic, aggressive, and results-driven.

Sarabian Law’s first partner, Abigail Hudson, shares the same deep ties to the region. A Fresno State alumna and former student body president, she graduated from the top of her class at law school and began her early career at an AM20 international law firm. Her leadership reflects the values at the core of the practice: precision, persistence, and commitment to client success.

You’ll see us in court, but you’ll also see us around town, because we live here, raise our families here, and care about what happens here. We bring elite litigation experience to the Central Valley and put it to work with full commitment to your outcome. We’re in this together.

Efficient Work, Fair Cost

Most civil cases are, at their core, economic decisions. At Sarabian Law, we never lose sight of that. That principle drives everything we do.

All too familar is being told a case was won, only to review the legal bills and years of litigation to learn neither the economic nor time investment was worth the cost.  Sarabian Law, in all matters, seeks to obtain an efficient outcome that leaves you in a better position than when you first came to us. We work carefully to balance case needs with real-life economics.

We limit overhead. We work efficiently so that everything we do relating to your case geniunely propels it forward.

Discussions involving several lawyers, endless internal meetings, and invoices filled with email charges don’t deliver outcomes. We stay away from this bloated approach to the law. The best business model is achieving client success, because it’s that success is why clients return to us.

We’ve built our firm on this principle.

At Sarabian Law, we promise transparency: you’ll always know your case’s status and the reasoning behind every decision.

Trial Work You Can Count On

Some cases resolve easily, but others need to go to trial. You need lawyers who know how to handle cases from inception through trial.

When it comes to trials, we’re dogged in our approach. We don’t run away from them. Every decision we make from the inception of your matter is geared towards trial readiness. This approach benefits our clients because the other side knows we will go the distance, if necessary.

In the last two years, we’ve tried eight cases between the two of us. In the Central Valley, that real courtroom experience is uncommon. We’ve seen how a credible readiness to try a case changes the dynamic and gives our client the edge.

Many firms talk about trial but few actually go. Repeated continuances and endless litigations cost clients time and money while compromising their position. We do everything in our power to ensure that doesn’t happen. When trial looks like the right path, we charge ahead with unwavering commitment. This willingness provides a real, enduring advantage to our clients.
